Audiology School
Audiologists are individuals who specialize in diagnosing and treating the auditory aspects of the ear. Professionals working in audiology are trained to treat hearing issues with their patients. They counsel and dispense hearing aids and may recommend hearing implants.
An audiologist will receive training in physiology, anatomy, hearing aids and more.
Audiologists are now required to have a doctoral degree — an Au.D. or Ph.D — in audiology from a university graduate or professional program.
